The El Paso Young Democrats are excited to announce our support for Gina Ortiz Jones in her race to become the next U.S. House representative of Texas’ 23rd Congressional District. Her experience as a veteran in the Air Force and work in the Obama Administration makes her the best choice for her district.
Gina’s run in 2018 inspired hundreds of young Texans across her district, including many in El Paso County. Her narrow loss two years ago proved that no district is too red or too non-voting to flip Democratic. As an established contender, Gina’s work from El Paso County to San Antonio City to flip the district is unparalleled.
We trust Gina because Gina listens to the people she hopes to represent. She’s leaving no one out in this race and we’re proud to endorse her.
